Most polls in Texas are closed in less than an hour from now at 7:00 p.m. (CT). Voters went to the polls today to determine the outcome in the state’s midterm elections.  Early voter turnout is higher than usual.  It’s the first time a sitting U.S. Senator has come home to challenge a governor in a primary election.

Our friends in El Paso keep their polls open until 8:00 (CT) and that’s about the time our election night coverage will start here.

Our election updates will begin shortly after we arrive at the Perry event in Driftwood at 8:00 p.m. I’ll be blogging and doing some radio stuff and Daniel Reed will be taking and sharing photos. Tweet us or comment below to talk about what this election night means to you and Texas.
