Mexico Press Event Includes Murder Suspect

Possible suspect presented, but officials evade questions…
In a press conference of scarcely 6 minutes, a presumed suspect in the massacre of students in Villas de Salvarcar was presented. the federal public ministry agent limited questions about his supposed participation.

According to the facts provided by the detainee, identified as Dolores Arroyo Chavarría, 30, the contract was to assassinate some members of the gang known as “The Doubles” or “Double A” (The Murder Artists/Artistas Asesinos).

Once the aggression began, the person in charge of directing the attack, identified by the detainee as “Diego” or “El Diez”/Number 10, gave the order to shoot everyone present. The suspect was arrested carrying a 40-caliber squad pistol, a radio and four cell phones, including one that belonged to one of the victims. Despite the fact that the state Attorney General Patricia Gonzalez and the chief of the 5th Military Zone in Chihuahua, General Felipe de Jesus Espitia, were present at the conference, both functionaries left without making any comments about the capture (El Diario).
