Austin is still under water restrictions. Despite the recent rain and cooler temperatures stage 2 water restrictions will remain in place until further notice.

Restrictions began Aug. 24 and require residents limit lawn watering to once a week. The day you can water is determined by your street address. Violators will be charged with a Class C Misdemeanor and charged up to $500.

Also, restaurants are not to serve water with a meal unless asked by the customer.

A complete list of regulations is available here.
